JANUARY 2011 - EUROTRIP ADVENTURE

January 2011 will be a month when I have to say goodbye to my hometown for a very long time. Departing from Czech Republic and passing through Germany and Denmark I'll than be heading over to the North.
Heading North to discover and enjoy sacred places of Scandinavia. Spending night in the Ice hotel, watching northern lights for hours, letting the mind go and enjoy every precious moment. No work related stress, no traffic, just getting the grasp of life in wilderness. After few days my footsteps will lead from Lofoten and Tromso over to Finland's seaside to face some Icebergs and to pay a visit to frozen Finnish lakes.
At the end of Eurotrip trip I'll head over to the UK to swap my gear, say one last goodbye to my friends and then it will be time to fly to Kenya, but... that's another story... story for the month of February.

JANUARY 2010 - ROUGH PREPARATION KICKS OFF

Roundtheworld trip sounds like fun and excitement, however, it is definitely no joke, there is a lot of work to be done. One of its key elements of success and enjoyment is stamina and endurance. I have started very intense cardio and weights training in order to be able to bear my backpack for the whole trip.
In order to ensure that I have sufficient funds for travelling I have set a strict budget which means that I'll live on € 5 a day. This may seem tough, but it is achievable. Fundraising and search for sponsors will kick off in March along with my Visa hunt :-). Thank you guys for your support, and one special thanks so far would go to my brother David, friends Terka, Kristyna, Pavel and Miro for making this trip come true.
